About Us White Industrial Seismology, Inc. has been in continuous operation since its founding as White Engineering Associates, Inc. by industry pioneer Harold H. White in 1951. From inception, our primary goal has been to provide the blasting industry with independent, professional, problem-solving, state-of-the-art monitoring equipment and data analysis services. We also provide pre-blast and post-blast surveys, vibration monitoring programs, special vibration studies and seminars. Over the years, White has effectively met the vibration monitoring and analysis needs of numerous mines, quarries, construction companies, local, state and federal agencies and insurance carriers. In 1970, Harold White sold his interest in White to David Bowling, a geophysicist and explosives specialist. Dave was instrumental in establishing White as one of the premier vibration monitoring and control businesses in the mid-west. He and his wife Louise operated White until their deaths in the early 1990s. Today, White is owned and operated by Randy and Marla Wheeler. They have both been instrumentally involved in the business since the late 1970s. Besides vibration monitoring services, White sells its own line of quality seismograph equipment worldwide.
