- Because the Mini-Seis automatically activates when a sensor is connected, it
also means that the unit will shut down when all sensors are removed.
However, the act of removing the sensors will cause a trigger. Therefore
the instrument may shut down in the middle of a trigger which means the data
cannot be stored. The solution is to either use the Trigger Disarm button
or the Reset button before disconnecting the sensors.
- Depending on the duration, the instrument can store a limited amount of data
from continuous triggers. Multiple back-to-back triggers can cause one or
more records to be "Summary Data Only."
- If WRAP is turned ON, when the memory is full the next event will replace the
waveform data for the oldest event. If you do not download in time it is
possible some older events could be "Summary Data Only."
If WRAP is OFF, when the memory is full the instrument will no longer store
waveform data for any subsequent events until the memory is cleared.
