My computer only has USB. What do I do?

No worries.  USB to serial adapters are readily available.  What is important is to get one that has drivers for your operating system.  You cannot just plug the adapter into your computer.  Drivers must be installed.  The adapter should come with an installation CD.  After the driver is installed, when you plug the cable into the computer, it will be given a com port number.  This com port number should be shown in the communication preferences for the Seismograph Data Analysis software.
